Mobile Phone Repair at Home in Queens: How It Works

By the Phone Repair 24/7 team · · 5 min read

Doorstep phone repair means the repair comes to you instead of you going to a shop. If you've never booked one, here's exactly what happens, from the first message to the moment you test your phone.

Step 1: Tell us what's wrong

Call, text or WhatsApp us at (929) 356-1669, or fill in the quote form. The more we know, the more accurate the quote:

  • Your exact model (Settings → General → About on iPhone, Settings → About phone on Android)
  • What happened and what's not working
  • A photo of the damage, if you can
  • Your neighborhood or ZIP code, for example Flushing 11354 or Astoria 11103

Step 2: Get a quote and choose a time

We send you the price and offer a time. Same-day visits depend on technician availability and whether we have the part for your model. Nothing is booked until we've both confirmed.

Step 3: Get ready for the visit

  • Back up your phone if you can.
  • Have your passcode ready so you can test the phone afterward.
  • If Find My needs to be switched off for your repair, have your Apple ID password handy.
  • Pick a spot with a table and decent light: a kitchen table, an office desk or a building lobby.

Step 4: The repair

The technician brings the tools and parts and repairs your phone where you are. You can stay nearby the whole time, so your phone never leaves your sight. Screens, batteries, charging ports and back glass on many models can be done during the visit; some repairs, like certain iPads or water damage, can take longer, and we'll tell you upfront.

Step 5: Test, then pay

Before you pay, check the things that matter: touch, display, Face ID or fingerprint, cameras, speakers and charging. If something isn't right, tell the technician then and there.

Questions readers ask

Is at-home repair more expensive than a shop?

Not necessarily. Ask for the full price, including any travel fee, when you get your quote, then compare.

Is it safe to let a technician into my home?

You choose the place. Many customers prefer a building lobby, an office or another public spot with a table. You can stay with your phone the entire time.

What if the part isn't available?

We'll tell you before booking and offer the earliest time we can get it.
